I love to cook outdoors. We Bar-B-Q on the back porch about 5 times a week, year round. I've been cooking on a Webber Genesis for a few years now so I figured it was time for a change. Daughters boyfriend cooks the best ribs on a gas smoker he bought at Wal-Mart for $150, so I thought I'd give one a try.
I love it! Now I not only get to play with fire, I get to smoke up the whole neighborhood also (raises the fun factor). Don't have to worry about flair-ups turning the chicken to charcoal while I'm off taking a pee either. The first time I smoked ribs they turned out to be the best ribs I ever made. Smoked some mullet a couple of weeks ago, turned out terrific! But I mostly just make chicken, its way cheaper, and you never get a tough one. I may never just Bar-B-Q again.
