Anyone who would like to adopt a soldier in Afghanistan who is fighting and risking his life to keep us safe think about Ryan. Ryan is Mike's and my nephew. I know he would love to get letters or packages from anyone. Just a note of thanks would be nice. Thanks so much, Lisa ----Original Message-----

Subject: Sending mail to Ryan
Hey everyone!
As most of you know, I have been in contact with Ryan in Afghanistan quite a bit in the last few weeks. That, however, will probably change in the coming months. The last e-mail I got from him, he was asking everyone to please send him some snail mail. He is already pretty lonely and he said it is really exciting to get something from home. So...I am giving you all his address in case you don't have it. I am also going to try to consistently send care packages. I've already sent one, but it would be nice if we could do this at least once a month. If anyone has ideas on what to send, please let me know.
I can't imagine what life must be like for Ryan right now, but I do know that we can all help him feel appreciated and loved by sending him a note- it doesn't have to be a 10 page letter, but just a note letting him know we miss him. Also, please forward this on to any other family and friends that you can think of whose e-mail address I don't have. Thanks, everybody!!
Heather
