Good post Matt.I have always felt very fortunate that I have a keen awareness of my blessings.Every day that I wake up and I'm healthy I give thanks. These are "the good old days".Enjoy everyone of them. There will come a day when you don't have your health, and when that day comes I don't want to be asking myself why I wasted all those good days.I also look at things from a deathbed prespective-will it matter when I'm on my deathbed.I find that when I look at life this way that the only things that really matter are the people you love and the people that love you.It really simplifies life.Suddenly the things that most people stress themselves over:jobs, social status, image, politics, social ills, appearance, money, size or location of your house, pleasing people who really don't give a sh$% about you, are put into perspective. They just don't matter that much.
