I remember reading the article in Motorcyclist and thinking that someone put a name to the way I've always ridden. It should be required reading at least once a year for all of us.

I ride motorcycles for the way they go around corners, not for the straight line stuff. As for trying to pass each other when in a group, the folks I ride with aren't really testosterone driven. We're all 40s and up and have realized that there are too many surprises around that next blind corner to be out of position. I'd much rather be cruising around another corner 30 years from now than sitting in a wheelchair thinking what a hero I used to be.
