Other than a complete power failure, no power from the battery, with an engine failure, I would imagine you would have the same effect as closing the throttle at any speed in any gear, the bike slows under engine braking. With no engine power, as long as you had electrical power, you could shift up or down until the bike stopped.

Question, If the engine locked up at speed, the back tire would initially stop rotating, but would the clutch then release since the computer inputs would indicate the speed of the bike is 0 mph. Assumes the MPH pickup is from the engine or transmission, not the ABS sensor at the front wheel.
