The AE is different as far as slow speed handling since you do not have a clutch to modulate. However, once you get use to the way the computer contols the clutch, slow speeds and slow speed turns are not a problem using the throttle to modulate the speed of the bike. Using the throttle you can feel the clutch slowly engage, depending upon how much the throttle is opened. I would say the bike is not for every one, but if you understand the logic of the computer controlled clutch the bike is as easy to ride as the clutch version.

Two issues: You can not push start the bike should you kill the battery and you can not shift into neutral until the bike has come to a complete stop.
