I ordered 3' last week (I think that 2' or 3' is the minimum they will sell), received it today and installed it tonight. 3' is plenty long enough for the stock '05 shield, I had to cut a couple of inches off. Tried it out for a short run on the nearest expressway. Thursday is bike night (insane scene!) at a local eatery and the LEO's are always out in force along that stretch, so I kept it under 70 mph. I'm really impressed! It makes the airflow feel like an electric fan, no buffeting, just a smooth, gentle rush of air! Seems like a MAJOR improvement at all shield heights. My first impression was WOW, this is terrific, but just a 1st impression and I haven't had it above 70. I'm riding from Miami to Atlanta next week, so will have a better handle on it.

Before I installed it, I called the company to ask if it would work well if I just put it along the top of the windshield and not down the sides...I have 2 other bikes and was thinking that maybe if I could put a piece along just the top of each one it would be an economical way to go, but I only got the company's answering machine. I bit the bullet and put the whole length on. No one has returned my call yet, so still an open question, but if it works as good as I think it does, I'll definitely be adding it to the other bikes. I don't want to say ugly, but it's not pretty. I'll get used to it. Too bad they don't make it in a clear version.
