Sounds like you may be in a similar situation to me. I have an '03 and am 5'5", I was getting beaten up by the wind, it was hitting me right in the middle of the helmet. I bought a -2 high +4 wide CEEBailey shield and it really helped a lot, broght the wind way down, but not quite to my neck like I was hoping. I then went with a Rifle tuning block which did lower the wind right to where I wanted it, right at my neck. With the shield all the way up in the rain I don't get wet. I do get some bugs on the inside of the shield at the lower position though, there is some big negative pressure going on. I see California Scientific has a sheld with some big holes in it to reduce this.

All in all I highly recommend any shield by CEEBailey and if you want a bit more angle try using 2 1/2" nylon washers and slightly longer bolts on the two screws that hold the black W onto the lower frame. That will space it out almost as much as the Rifle block, and is a whole lot cheaper.
