2nd thing I did was to remove the pannier reflectors. 3rd was to take those "tuning fork" emblems of. To me they looked like headlights against the blue...not so bad on the Cerulean '04.

I took a large pair of channel lock pliers and wiggled (actually, twisted it back and forth) the reflector until it began to loosen then pulled it off. Others have heated the area with a hair dryer, used dental floss to ease behind the reflector base and then clean the residue with WD-40. There are many ways to accomplish the deed...
