Roger I have about 2500 miles on my Shinko Ravesn now. I'm still very pleased with them. I've done tight fast twistys, fast highway, in town, hot, cool, sand, dirt, mud, No snow yet....lol. When I wear these out I'm gonna get a 2nd pair.

Keep in mind, when buying tires the higher performance (speed) rating you get the faster they will wear out. you have to decide what you want..but for a "V" rated high performance tire I'm very happy.

Same thing with buying tires for your car. If you have a Toyota Camery and have "H" rated tires you will get anywhere from 40 to 75 thousand miles on em. But if you put "V" rated tires on the same car same brand tire your lucky to get 10 thousand miles. depending on how you drive etc etc.

My point is if you want a tire to last and last and last, then you don't want a performance type tire. I'm expecting to get 5 to 8 thousand out of my ravens...the way I ride it's prob gonna be closer to 6.

Hope this helps.:D
