I usually run 40 rear and 36 front. I had the front shocks revalved and put an Ohlins on the rear (California Suspension Works). Most of my riding is done in the twisties at fairly aggressive lean angles (no chicken strips left on the front or rear). My Metzlers are at the point where I can get about 200 more miles out of them if I don't ride too hard. That will be a total of about 4700 mi on the stock tires. The front is well worn on the sides with slight cupping; there is plenty left in the center. The rear wore more evenly and is just in the wear bars. I also have a FZ1 and I routinely need to replace the tires at 3000 Mi. Now I have to decide what new tire I will go to for the FJR. I run Pirelli Diablos on the FZ1 but I don't think that type of tire would be good on the FJR. Given my penchant for the twisties and riding hard does anyone have experience with different brands of tires that would fit my riding style?:rollin
